This advanced manufacturing process applies pressure to
the inner barrel of the wheel, while spinning and after it has been cast. This stretches and compresses the aluminum, which increases tensile strength. The process shares similar properties to those found in making forged wheels. The flow formed wheel is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation, much greater shock resistance and an increased load capacity versus standard cast wheels.
